FROZEN WATERS

Frozen waters let go their flow

Burst their banks and dams and snow

All that was ice did surely melt

All that cold as she lonely knelt

Her body submersed

Into those freezing tides

She swam to a place

Where no one could hide

Birthed upon the dunes

Frozen with waves

Lapping the shore

She was truly saved

Now as she looked

To the darkest skies

She finally discovered

All their truths were lies.
